We are back in Russia! We survived three flights with two children! And now we are trying to survive 10-hour jet lag, which is probably more difficult than the 24 hours of travel, to be honest.
It's still chilly here, highs in the 30's with a bit of wind, and even though the ground is mostly just slush, there are still icy patches (so don't worry about those rain boots you see - I put them away for another couple of weeks in exchange for my snow boots).
Dressing weather-appropriately and getting us all out the door makes me feel like an American Ninja Warrior or something. Half an hour, easy. And by that point we're all so exhausted we only make it a block or two. Leaves something to work up to, right?
Caroline is still a bit wary about holding Christian, until another kid wants to hold him, and then: "HEY, that's MY brother!" It's good to see the sibling connection growing stronger and stronger. Though she could only give us half a smile after that particular altercation, had to maintain some of the tough-guy facade.

Welcome home! I am headed to the land of ice and snow - Idaho - to help Amy with her new little Jack, and play with 2 year old Max. Life is hard. :D
